- 12 Remarkable Weeks
- Flexible Scheduling: Classes convene once a week, on Saturdays, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, accommodating your unique needs and schedule.

- Online Convenience: Each week will require 4-6 hours of online self-study and 2 hours of remote module reviews. Curriculum is accessible anytime, ensuring flexibility and convenience.

• WEEK 01 •
Start strong with a hands-on introduction to dentistry: clinic orientation, the language of the dental office, and the foundation you’ll use every day as a dental assistant
• WEEK 02 •
Focuses on core chairside fundamentals used in real dental offices: you’ll train in four-handed dentistry and smooth instrument transfer, learn isolation and moisture control techniques with proper HVE suctioning, practice correct patient positioning for comfort and access, and build operatory habits like handpiece care and maintenance.
• WEEK 03 •
OVERVIEW ONLY. Dental radiology fundamentals, combining theory and hands-on practice with intraoral and extraoral X-ray techniques. You’ll learn X-ray safety protocols, proper positioning and image capture basics, and the foundational steps of image processing, including darkroom procedures. • WEEK 04 •
Introduces restorative materials and
the chairside workflow that supports them. You’ll learn the differences between amalgam and composite, the instruments used for each, and how to assist with proper setup, mixing and handling, curing procedures, and organized tub/tray preparation so you can support efficient, high-quality restorations.
• WEEK 05 •
This week covers the restorative basics that keep procedures safe and predictable, including cements and liners and how they’re used chairside. You’ll complete an upper-arch alginate impression from start to finish, then pour, trim, and finish your model correctly. You’ll also complete an X-ray knowledge quiz to reinforce radiology concepts, and finish CPR training as part of your clinical readiness.
• WEEK 06 •
Midterm exam. Oral surgery, periodontal instruments and materials, sterilization procedures, alginate impressions (lower arch).
• WEEK 07 •
Crown and bridge assisting, including the instruments and materials used throughout the workflow. You’ll learn how to support the doctor during prep and impression steps, practice making temporary restorations that fit comfortably and look natural, and complete bite registrations to help ensure accurate occlusion and predictable lab results.
• WEEK 08 •
Endodontic assisting fundamentals, including the materials and instruments used during common root canal procedures, along with an overview of orthodontics and how dental assistants support ortho visits and workflows. You’ll also build practical job interview skills—how to present yourself professionally, answer common questions confidently, and communicate your strengths so you can get hired faster.
• WEEK 09 •
Shifts to the business and compliance side of dentistry, covering office management and front-desk operations such as scheduling and appointment flow, billing basics and dental insurance processes, and the essentials of working with common office management software.
• WEEK 10 •
This final week is your graduation checkpoint, combining both written and hands-on testing to confirm you’re ready for the job. You’ll review pediatric dentistry essentials and complete the final written exam, then demonstrate your skills in the practical exam, including an X-ray clinical practical to verify safe positioning, technique, and procedure readiness.
• WEEK 11 •
Externship begins this week, where you transition from lab practice to real-world experience in a working dental office. You’ll apply what you’ve learned in chairside assisting, infection control, patient flow, and clinical professionalism while building speed, confidence, and job readiness through supervised hands-on training.
• GRADUATION•
Attend the graduation ceremony to celebrate your completion of the program and your transition into the dental assisting profession. This is your official milestone—recognizing your hard work, clinical readiness, and next step toward employment.
